RIDIN’ HIGH NEWS

Howdy partners!  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Praise the Lord for the rain we received on Saturday night. Y’all keep bringing your friends and family on Sunday’s, it’s always great to see all the new faces.

We were blessed from all around the arena on Sunday.  The band, the kid’s kampfire, testimonies, and Brother Bob’s message.  And God roped the ultimate message around all of us.  ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE AND HE WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BETTER, FOREVER.  The cowboys and cowgirls all around have been going through changes they never thought possible.  God is working in this ranch house and it is showing every time we come together.  Keep on prayin’ for the church and all the people who are coming and for the people who haven’t made there yet, but for God to keep working on their hearts.

The playday was a blast.  We had a great group of cowboys and cowgirls show up and we had a great time.  Thanks to everyone who helped out.  Next month the playdays will be moved to the evening. Check out the website for the times. But always on the 4th Saturday of the month.  The arena team is raffling off a colt to raise money for year-end awards. The drawing will be on October 25. Tickets are $5 or 5 for $20. The colt is an AQHA bay filly, Hancock and Blue Valentine breeding.  For more info contact Chaney at 469-585-5746.

Kid’s Kountry also had a blast this past weekend.  They had a pizza/slumber party on Saturday night.  They played games, ran around the house, jumped on the trampoline, and watched movies.  Thanks to the Brockway’s for opening up their home to host the party.

On Wednesday we have bible study for adults and the youth. And on Thursday we have team roping practice at the Green’s arena. It starts at 7pm, you can contact Michael at 214-577-1084 for more info.

Next Sunday is the Team Leaders meeting and fellowship after service, everyone is invited to stay for both. I hear there’s gonna be some ice cool watermelon for dessert.
