If y'all don't church here, you can still join in the fun! Read to the end and see what's comin' up.
Kids’ Kountry younguns told Brother Eddie this Sunday that hearts, and bows and arrows, are Valentine’s Day symbols for love. The Cross is another. John 3:16.

Whoever doesn’t know God doesn’t know love. 1 John 4:8. Though unseen, love’s all around us and in our hearts. If you believe in love, why not believe in God? You are a living expression of His love.
We know real love: Jesus laid down his life for us. 1 John 3:16. ____
Life or death? Brother David Sanford from Cross Brand Cowboy Church told us about a play set in the 1870's where a preacher told people gambling in a bar that “The wages of sin is death, but God’s gift is eternal life.” Romans 6:23. They sent him off, then looked up to see a man in black who said he was Lucifer. Lucifer said, "I brought you some wages," pulled out a pistol and killed two of them.
Next, the preacher was talking with a Christian couple. Lucifer asked God, “Let me tempt the woman with her old ways in the saloon.” God said, “No.” Lucifer asked, "Why not? You let me tempt Job." But God was firm.
Later, the preacher tried to talk to a drifter, who sent him away. The drifter then killed, and robbed hired hands’ wages from, a rancher. Lucifer appeared carrying a bag and said, "Here’s more wages for you." The drifter said, "I'll take yours, too," and Lucifer killed him.
If you don't know Jesus, and God through him, you’re spiritually dead. "You've got to walk that lonesome valley" alone, all by yourself. With Jesus and God in your heart, you’ll never be alone -- and sin won’t be your master. Romans 6:14.
Honoring your mother and father includes honoring God, the Father of all. Having no other gods or idols includes man-made money and material things. That's the hardest wages of death to give up. Still, it teaches contentment. If you know about Jesus, but don’t live your God-given life to glorify Him, you earn the wages of sin and look to be turned away from Heaven.
Eternal life is the reward for giving your head, and your heart, to Jesus. Get yourself a share of that happiness. ____
